International Women's Day

Children's University

Children's passport to learning Michelle Kipling won a Making a Difference Award for work with bringing schools and businesses together - see the Inspiring Women Conference, part of International Women's Day.

International Women's Day means different things to different people. For some it's a celebration, for others it's a call to action to accelerate gender parity, and for many it's an opportunity to align and promote relevant activity. Whatever your objective, International Women's Day is the perfect moment for gender-focused action.

As part of International Women's Day we are celebrating the contribution of women across The University of Manchester. From academics to students, staff to volunteers, all help to make this a world-class university. Events include: Katharine Perera Women in Leadership Annual Lecture, Musica International Women’s Day concert, Celebrating Inspiring Women at Manchester, and the Wonder Women Festival,
