Are you a female expert and do you want to take part in television and radio programmes that that are made in the North of England?
The BBC Academy in conjunction with BBC North is holding a free training day for women with particular expertise who are interested in appearing on television, on radio and online as contributors or presenters.
The training day is taking place on Wednesday, 1 May 2013 at MediaCityUK, Salford and the deadline for applications is 31 March.
They are looking for female experts in the following categories:
- Science: pure science, medical science & space science
- Sports
- Politics, Economics & Business
- Islam
- Gadgets & Consumer Technology
This is an great opportunity for female experts in the North of England who are interested in appearing on television, on radio and online as contributors or presenters.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm 7 April 2013 and participants will be notified by Wednesday 17 April 2013.
