If science communication is your thing then here are two great networking and development opportunities coming up. (In both case student bursaries are on offer.)

British Science Association – Science Communication Conference, London – 16 & 17 May 2013, Kings Place, London

The Science Communication Conference is the annual event that brings together the most diverse range of science communicators to meet each other, get new skills and discuss the biggest issues.

This year we will have three strands to explore the topics that matter to you:

  • Do it: These sessions will be highly practical with an emphasis on sharing skills
  • Discuss it: These sessions will cover the hot topics in public engagement and provide an opportunity to discuss the important issues
  • Discover it: These sessions will highlight excellent examples of public engagement and provide audiences with fresh ideas to apply to their own projects

(Early bird registration 18 March)
