Nominations required: Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE). Deadline Monday 24 June 12pm
Building upon last year’s success, we will recognise inspirational and outstanding commitment to PPIE that has made a positive difference, through the FBMH ‘Outstanding Contribution to PPIE’ awards.
The awards are open to Public Contributors, staff, students and groups contributing to PPIE in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. Activities may include, but not limited to: setting research/teaching priorities, co-production of research/ teaching, enabling and evidencing high quality PPIE through public partnerships and sheer hard work and commitment to enable excellence in the Faculty’s work.
The categories for the awards are:
- Public Contributor
- Group (e.g. research user group) please provide the names of every member of the group.
- New comer (has only been doing PPIE for up to two years)
- One off event/project
You can nominate someone for more than one category and you can also self-nominate as well.

We would like to create a poster of the nominations to showcase at the event so please confirm that you are happy for the information you have provided in the nomination form to be presented on the day.
Please note: We strongly recommend that you inform the person that you are nominating them.
Shortlisted entrants will be notified by the end of June and will be invited to the PPIE Celebration event on Wednesday 17 July, Core Technology Facility where winners will be announced.
