Come to the next Engagement@Manchester event on 17 October.

All University students and staff are invited to attend our monthly lunchtime meetings exploring aspects of public engagement. There is a wealth of expertise across the University in this field and we are running these free events to help us share our ideas and experiences.

Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome – no experience in public engagement is needed. We are keen to encourage new people to take their first steps in public engagement, as well as support those with more experience.

When and where?
Next event is being held on Wednesday 17 October (1-2pm) in Room 2.220, University Place.

What?
In this event we explore the range of opportunities for working with the University of Manchester’s cultural assets, including the Manchester Museum, John Rylands Library, Whitworth Art Gallery, and Jodrell Bank. Find out how together you can develop and deliver focused public engagement activities for a range of groups including schools, families, and adults.

How?
A few speakers will present short case studies and there will be plenty of time for discussion. You will also hear about upcoming opportunities to get involved and you will have chance to have your say too.

There’s no need to book – just turn up!

Teas and coffees will be provided, but please bring your lunch along with you.
