Tim Peake’s Soyuz space capsule is landing at the Museum of Science and Industry and to mark the occasion we are having a Space: Late on Wednesday 14 March from 7pm – 10pm.

Our Lates are informal, adults-only events that take place after hours, combining hands-on activities, ted-style talks and demonstrations with a bar. We work with scientists and researchers from across the country to bring an exciting and innovative programme to our visitors. We welcome audiences of up to 1000 during a Late so there’s great opportunity for public engagement here.

We’re looking for interactive activities showcasing exciting contemporary research that will inspire our young adult audience. If you have a space-themed activity or demonstration that you think might suit this type of event, please get in touch by with Georgina Wells, email – georgina.wells@msimanchester.org.uk by Friday 9 February 2018.
