Tony Bristow of AstraZeneca in Macclesfield will describe the use of the analytical science technique, mass spectrometry, in forensics, food analysis, space exploration, drugs in sport, environmental analysis, historical investigations and medical diagnosis.

The presentation is designed not to be technical, but to explain how the technology of mass spectrometry is used in ways that affect our lives on a daily basis.

Event starts 6.30 pm at The Vale Inn, Adlington Road, Bollington. Arrive early to get a seat. As always, anyone from Junior School age onwards is very welcome. Anyone with an interest in science is very welcome.
