The Royal Academy of Engineering is now accepting nominations for our Rooke Award for the public promotion of engineering.

Individual, small teams or projects based in the UK that have supported the Academy’s aims and work through their initiative in promoting engineering to the public are all eligible. I’m afraid you’re not allowed to self-nominate though!

You can apply and find out more on our brand new online nomination system: www.raeng.org.uk/grants-and-prizes/prizes-and-medals

Note” you know logging on and creating a profile doesn’t bind you to entering a nomination so it’s worth going on and having a look.

If you’d like more info you can also contact my colleague Sylvia Hampartumian at awards@raeng.org.uk or call 020 7766 0648.

The closing date is Monday 13 October 2014.
