The difference being there is no book But we do have a series of topical / relevant / provocative publications to read, digest and discuss.

This month we will be mostly looking at the recent report “Through Both Eyes” from Science Grrrrl (too many rrrrrrs, but who wouldn’t get carried away?). Find it here:

http://sciencegrrl.co.uk/assets/SCIENCE-GRRL-Stem-Report_FINAL_WEBLINKS-1.pdf

In particular we look forward to hearing your responses to the following report recommendations:

  • Recommendation 8 “Support project based, creative and real-world learning”
  • Recommendation 10 “Unify the STEM ecosystem”
  • Recommendation 11 “Leadership on careers advice”

If you haven’t yet read the report, this is your chance to catch up with your more nimble, fleet of foot and better informed colleagues.

We will be meeting on Twitter from 12:00 – 14:00 on Tuesday 10 June, just use the hastag #scicommlit.

You may also want to catch up with previous SciCommLit sessions here:
