This Friday, 9 May 2014, The John Rylands Library will host ‘Stroke Stories’ a human library and story-telling event.

Visitors to the Library will be able to select a ‘book’, or stroke survivor, based on a summary of their story and then have the opportunity to chat to the stroke survivor about their experience. This inspiring event aims to raise awareness of strokes, and coping-mechanisms for surviving life after a stroke.
