To celebrate Universities week Manchester Museum is hosting a Big Saturday: Ideas for Life on Saturday 14 June. Universities Week will show how research is making a positive difference to society and our aim is to provide an engaging day looking at how the world works and how to make it better.

If you’d like to participate in this Big Saturday please email Anna.Bunney@manchester.ac.uk at Manchester Museum.

Big Saturdays are Manchester Museum’s monthly public engagement events for both families and adults. Each month a different topic is explored linked with the Museum’s collections; our vision of promoting understanding between cultures and working towards a sustainable world or reflecting University of Manchester research.

Each Big Saturday is different reflecting the topics and partners that we work with but often include Museum object handling; meet the scientist; artist led workshops; performances; talks.
