This year Universities Week focuses on the everyday impact of research and aims to enourage universities to engage the public in inspiring and accessible ways.

But what is going on at The University of Manchester?

Do you have plans to run an event specifically designed for Universities Week? Or perhaps you are running a public or community event that be promoted under the Universities Week umbrella.

For example, Manchester Museum will be hosting a Big Saturday event on Saturday 14 June around the broad theme of Sustainability and Making a Difference and there’s opportunities for you to get involved in a ready-made family fun day.

Or maybe you will be releasing a podcast, hosting a public lecture, working with a visiting school group, or taking your research to a pub!

Whatever, however, and wherever you are engaging with the public, do drop us a line – we’d love to help shout out about all the great engagement activity going on in and around the University of Manchester from 9 –15 June.
